One of our very favorite mp3 blogs, 20 Jazz Funk Greats, has an excellent post featuring Copy’s brilliant “It’s a Little Too Late” track.

Right from the start we are witnessing the missing link between Isolee and 8-bit recordings. Early digital lo-fi reminiscent sounds given a serious sense of depth with enough warmth to bring a glow to the coldest winter (which we seem to be having at the back of the closet).

That same track features in a segment on one the net’s best podcasts, Dailysonic, alongside the more subdued “Thanks for the Pen.” Dailysonic’s Adam Varga hits the nail on the head, highlighting Mobius Beard’s sonic restraint and deft melodicism. Click here to listen.
